Hey, I’m Ryan – shark scientist, wildlife filmmaker, and lifelong ocean addict. Born in Aotearoa (New Zealand) to travelling parents, my winding journey has taken me from muddy rugby fields to freediving alongside great white sharks off the southern tip of Africa.

I’ve spent the past two decades tracking sharks, telling their stories through film, and working to protect the wild places they call home. Whether I’m guiding expeditions, documenting rare shark behaviour, or just geeking out over bite forensics, everything I do is driven by one thing: a deep passion for sharks, the ocean and everything wild. A passion I desire to share with others.
